School supplies on sale – already!

I know it’s only July and it feels like summer just started but it looks like it’s a good time to start your back to school shopping. Fred Meyer has some items on sale this week.
Spiral Notebook, 70 pages – $0.15 cents each
24-pack crayons – $0.25 cents each, limit 4
Eraser – $0.25 cents each, limit 4
100-page composition book – $0.25 cents, limit 4
Elmer’s School glue – $0.33 cents each, limit 3
Thanks for the heads up Queen Bee. It’s so expensive to wait till the weekend before to try to fill that list. I guess I’m showing my age here, but I don’t remember having to buy so much stuff for school when I was growing up.

Change to Albertsons Twice the Value Coupons

Due to overwhelming use and abuse, Albertsons will no longer have Twice the Value Coupons available to give away at the service desk….the only way to get them is in the Sunday paper.

To order the Tacoma News Tribune, just mention “2frugal” or “2chicks” to get the Sunday paper delivered to your house for $1 per copy (you have to order a minimum of 3 copies).  Here’s the number to call:  1-800-289-8711.
