Halloween is here! It’s always fun to decorate some cookies for the neighbor’s kids.We used a basic shortbread recipe for these ones and my nieces and sister helped decorate. Fun!

I have been pining for a La Creuset dutch oven for a long time now, but at $245 for the 5-1/2 quart size, I knew I’d have to wait for the sale of all sales to come along to get it at a reasonable price.  I know La Creuset is great (probably the best), but $37.29 vs. $245 is a no brainer to me! Plus, I can use my $10 Fred Meyer gift card to buy another one as a Christmas gift for only $27.29..

Costco has the Finish dishwashing powerball tabs on sale for $16.99. My total with delivery is $18.60. Amazon has a 100 for $17.88. The Costco deal is 200 tabs, so a much better deal. That is only $0.09 a load. Good time to stock up. Here is the link.

With tax and delivery it was only $1.08. Some got mascara for as low as $0.08 but they were out of stock of that one. I’m still pretty happy with $1.08. Good deal on a stocking stuffer.
